My Second Favorite Website

I usually spent most of my time watching videos in this infamous website called YouTube. I would watch long essay videos and watch VOD to entertain myself when I am bored. However as of late, I have found a website that it also as entertaining as YouTube. That website is called TV Tropes.

What makes this website so entertaining is the fact that it is fun to read with how much content that is store within it. The website mainly act as a wiki for tropes that exist in different media. it would catalogue tropes from most popular to the least well-known that some of you might not even know that it exist. Moreover, the website is not only cataloging tropes, but also cataloging different form of media and list the tropes that exist within them. The examples of media are anime and manga, animated movies, western animations, life-action movies, etc.

Some of the thing I like about TV Trope is how they write article for a trope. The language that they use to write an article for a trope's is unlike the writing style that you would find in Wikipedia, Fandom, and other wiki. Their writing is more casual, comedic, and also flexible. Being flexible means that some articles is bending and adapting to the trope that the article discuss; turning it into a Self-Demonstrating Article. For example, in the "Department of Redundancy Department" trope, the article plays into the redundancy trope by making all of the subpages and folders to have long redundant names and labels.

Not only that there are article pages which reflects a trope, there are also many media pages in which the article puts in the media's unique and popular catch phrases and quote. All of which exist as a way to pay respect to the media, it shows that the writers of the article have vast knowledge of the media, and also shows the writers are dedicated to the media that is being discuss.
